Kléber Haedens
100 years ago, 11th of December 1913 Kléber Haedens was born in Équeurdreville (Lower Normandy), a novelist, essayist and journalist, a member of the Action Française (from 1930’s) and an editor of the sports and literary journal sections of "L'Action Française," an associate of "Je suis partout", "L'Insurgé" and "Combats" (body of the French Militia); during the German occupation one of the personal secretaries of Charles Maurras, after the war, a member of the literary group "Hussars" (Hussards), a right-wing alternative to the existentialists of "Les Temps Modernes", activist of Young France, theater critic "Aspects de la France" and an associate of "Paroles Française"; in 1968 he became a member of the honorary Committee commemorating the centenary of the birth of Ch.Maurras; in 1974 a winner of a Grand Novelist Prize of the French Academy. He died in 1976.
