70 years ago on the 12th of November 1943, at the age of 21 (under a false name of „Andrzej Jarociński”) Andrzej Trzebiński ( alias Paweł Późny & Stanisław Łomień) was shot by a German firing squad in a public execution in Warsaw, a poet, a dramaturg, prosaist, literally critic and a political publicist, from 1942 a member of the conspiratorial Confederation of the Nation (Konfederacja Narodu), a co-founder and a co-author ,as well as a third editor (after B.O. Kopczyński & W. Bojarski) of the literally periodical “Art and Nation” („Sztuka i Naród”), a creator ,first in charge and a co-author of the ideological declaration of the universal Culture Movement (Ruch Kulturowy); a nationalist and a universalist (in its “golden pinnacle method” („metody złotego szczytu”) variant favoured over and above liberal democracy and totalitarianism), a visionary of a Slavic Empire and a bard of an imperial culture.
