175 years ago, on April 6th 1839 Antonio Starabba, marquis (marchese) di Rudinì was born in Palermo, a landowner and a politician, a conservative and a supporter of decentralisation , since 1886 the leader of the so-called historical right ( destra storica ); twice the Minister of Interior, once of justice and foreign affairs, twice a Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Italy ( 1891-1892 and 1996-1998). He died in 1908.
