Adam Skwarczyński
80 years ago on April 2nd 1934, Adam Skwarczyński a.k.a Adam Płomieńczyk died in Warsaw at the age of 47, an activist for independence, an educator, a journalist, a ‘Piłsudski-ite’, an activist of the "Sagittarius", an officer of the First Brigade of the Polish Legions, a member of POW (Polish Military Organisation) Headquarters and the ‘A’ Convention Organisation; the editor of the "Government and Military ",founder (1922) and first editor of the “Road" monthly, after 1926 the head of the social department in the Civil Office of the President of the Republic; a theorist of Polish authoritarianism and "moral revolution".
