André Figueras
90 years ago, on January 8th 1924 André Figueras was born in Paris, a writer, journalist and a publisher, a grandson of an ephemeral (in 1870) president of the First Spanish Republic Juan Figueras, from the age of 17 a participant in the anti-German Resistance Army and a paratrooper with the Free French African Army; abandonment of French Algeria, made him a passionate anti-Gaullist and an author of numerous pamphlets aimed at Ch. De Gaulle and the Gaullists; a Catholic traditionalist close to Archbishop M. Lefebvre and the anti-abortion movement, in 1980 he also officially endorsed Le Pen’s National Front .Died in 2002.
