75 years ago, on the 2nd of November 1938, Patrick Joseph „Pat” Buchanan was born in Washington, a publicist and a politician, an adviser to three Republican presidents (R.Nixon, G.Ford, R.Reagan), on two occasions (1992, 1996) he sought the Republican Party’s presidential nomination, in the year 2000 he ran on a Reform Party ticket; a long-term contributor to the “National Review” and “Human Events” as well as a political commentator MSNSC and Fox News, a co-founder (2002) of a bi-weekly “The American Conservative” magazine; a Catholic traditionalist and a paleoconservatist who defends the classic republican tradition against the democratic and neo-Jacobin imperialism of the “neoconservatives”; hated by the pro –Israeli lobby as well as sexual deviants.
