Carlos Alberto Sacheri
80 years ago, on the 22nd of October 1933 Carlos Alberto Sacheri was born in Buenos Aires. A philosopher and a publicist, theorist of a catholic state, a professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina, a rector at the BA Universities’ Institute of Philosophy (Faculty of Law and Social Sciences), a scientific secretary at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET), an editor of “Criterio” magazine, a member of the Argentine Catholic Action, a secretary of the Thomistic Society of Argentina, leader of Ciudad Católica, one of the leaders of the Unified Nationalist Movement of Argentina; killed in 1974 by the People’s Revolutionary Army (ERP) on the 22nd of August.
